Unto Her the Bell Has been Rung

her beauty is music to the soul
by candlelight a goddess glow
standing 'neath the full moon
so lovely men have swooned
when she walks among the trees
she offers you wine and brie
all the men that she has known
drank deep from her home grown
when the women see her pass
behind jealous hands they sass
she is that bell that has been rung
a strong woman swift of tongue
she is midnight obsession told
she's Saturday's playfulness bold

This is all so luscious!!!

I feel happy just reading about her and think she has it just right! She is the embodiment of passion and pleasure and it is much better to be betrayed by others than by oneself.

Actually, if you look at it another way... perhaps she was not known biblically, but the angel of light to give comfort. I know it's a stretch (laughing), but I am a positive soul.

I have my reasons for saying this. You have used the light worker symbol which is a beautiful symbol and of course well used for this poem. People are drawn to a light of love because of the heart of the light worker. They give comfort and joy.

I live in a small town from which I am not from. I am a light worker, no matter where I am when out and about others are drawn to me. I have the gift of gab and can be comforting. Unfortunately (laughing), some of the old ladies here don't take kindly to it. Gossip ensues, but I am not bothered.

Beautifully done Jerry, you have such a wonderful insight and talent for writing. I always look forward to more. :)

Love and Light
