Evenings Soft Kiss
As the evening sun slowly lays its head to rest on this Memorial Day 2012, I sit in the silence of the approaching night and reflect.
I watch the squirrels jump from tree to tree in play as the clear drops of water from an earlier rain glisten in the fading light.
Soon darkness will descend and the frogs, crickets will sound out their night calls.
I love this time of day though due to constant work, it I seldom do see.
Just as early morning the evening has its own special glory.
I revel in the beauty of the approaching night as I sit in the backyard swing and watch as the lightning bugs begin their flight.
For those who say there is no God, well I guess they cannot see with their heart what is now before me.

| I can hear those crickets and frogs. I can feel that quiet worship. Nice, very nice. Hi again. Be well, Kathy |

You have written beautifully about the time update that I cherish, but, like you, I rarely get to appreciate because I'm stuck with some activity that probably isn't necessary.
