Love Agape in Ages

I can't promise that I'll
be here for the rest of
your life...but I can
promise that I'll love You
the rest of mine~Unknown~

Seasoned is the woman
mere is the boy looking
through their eyes with
each faced kaleidoscope
frame daring their love
hunger to last oblivious
to society for any age
barrier set respectively

Will the colors bleed to
fade if the fire burns out
~

Or always to flare in their
hearts winning the test
of time when it snows
on the mountain top

A tough question. Do December, April romances continue on into true love? I don't know. Only time answers those questions, and I haven't enough.

It's wonderful how old flames are forever young in our minds eye. How come they are called old flames? Just remember to fan the memory now and again I say.

Haha! Love this one very much. Brings back some absolutely wonderful recollections. I have thanked my "seasoned" lovers in poem a few times, and here I see that it is your turn. Great. Lovely. Magnificent, Vivian!
