True poets don't write their thoughts with a pen... They release the ink that flows from within their heart. ~ by Anonymous ~

 When is life more beautiful

When is life more beautiful,
than to share each other’s love
Looking same directions
With vastness out beyond

Arms around each other
Staring out to sea
Feeling all its richness
Complete in harmony

Laying one together
Talking hours on end
Sharing all our wishes
My partner and my friend

How so much we laugh
And tears of happiness
Smiling to each other
Where does time elapse

Curled up in your arms
We drift both off to sleep
Television blinking
Yet slumber both in peace

We wake up and both smiling
Fully clothed that we both are
No cares for our condition
It’s really not so bizarre

The sun it now is raising
Mornings light it touches eyes
Slowly open slitted
We are not surprised

We giggle both together
As we slowly both undress
And hold each other closely
My lover and best friend

Life is beautiful when you are held in the arms of the one you love. You cover every possible emotion and direction here for that kind of love

But the tenderness of two who know true love for that each can so peacefully slumber in each others arms. Then only to wake and continue that beauty.

I bow and tip my hat to you

I don't think life could be more beautiful in the way you have described this. It is what everyone aspires for in life, to find that special person you can call your own and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

The title says it all already.
How beautiful it is when love is so natural, nothing is needed, while everything can. Even time disappears.

Thanks for sharing such a beautiful view Carolee

A truly great feeling you have described Carol, when you can lay together, fully clothed and talk, watch TV and drop off to sleep. That is a very satisfying feeling. I have been there and the peace it gives you is indescribable. Beautiful work.
