When they first met everything seemed so right and each day that passed their love grew stronger, as she knew she found her one and only.

A love so true , and they shared many magical moments together, as she thought it would last forever.

He made her laugh, as he also made her cry many times.

So now she must tell him goodbye .

Since she had heard enough lies and tried far to many times.

Furthermore, she knew what she had to do and that was to move forward.

Hard as it might seem right now it was the perfect time to turn her life completely around and say goodbye to those frowns and stop being down.

Therefore, be strong and know that one day someone else may come along. You look back onto the bitter past and realize what took so long for this to happen.

He is so dear and there is no longer fear and no one should have to live that way as it’s not the right way.

Now, she lives happily ever after.

Because a true gentleman finally appeared.

THIS REMINDS ME OF THAT SONG THAT GOES; '...LOVE IS LOVLIER, THE SECOND TIME AROUND...' AND THIS USUALLY TURNS OUT TO MEAN...WITH SOMEONE ELSE. THANKS FOR SHARING, LAURA, YOUR EXPERIENCES IN LIFE ARE A GREAT SOURCE OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR OTHERS. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

I think sometimes we have to learn the hard way to truly appreciate the beauty of true love, we need to have known bad love first.

whom are in similar situations with hope!! Through sharing
experiences we all learn from each other
and too life is to short to live inside emotional prisons

True gentlemen are hard to find now-a-days and this, in part, may be because many women feel it belittles them if a man holds a door open for them. If you, indeed, have found a true gentleman that respects and returns your love, how wonderful this is for you, dear Laura.

So many live in wedded hell, a private hell, yet insecurity leaves them in their self made cage, rather than fly away and escape to freedom and dignity.

I like the poem that ends happily ever after. Otherwise, it's cried far too many times.
