I pulled a tick right off my leg
While I was on Vacation
It seems that they are plentiful
In that part of our nation
He weren’t too fat or bloated up
It is often that they are
And by the time you find them
They could fill a mason jar
This one didn’t even itch
Plus I got his head out too
For if you fail to do so
A big ole lump will form on you
With a smirk I squashed the thing
While I strolled across the floor
And stepped right on a thumb tack
Fallen out of a kitchen drawer
Naturally it was the big toe
The one that took the poke
I’m glad there were no witnesses
To the torrent of vocal smoke
So now I sport a bandaid
With just myself to blame
Unlike the Title’s Homonyms
Tick Tack Toe is not a game
