Why Sweetwater Rules!

her religion set in gold
alchemical sagas challenge
patriarchal flaws - the posse
fails to efface this outlaw doll

she'll tangle you up
genuflect in the fresh
buffalo chips with a four-strand
braid of barbed-wire at your jugular
she'll bleed you preachably mute

better-known frontier figures
have tried and had less influence
on wives; and marriage brokers die
on the day of the arrangement black
roses wilt in their funerary vase of
skullduggery

idolatry foreshadows
the sinecurist; her thriving
community of saloons and
whorehouses boast an audience
deserving of her careful planning why
Sweetwater rules!

While I am loathe to admit it, it's those patriarchal flaws that have gotten this world to the sorry state that it's in today. Just make sure you stay ahead of that posse.... I have described myself as a horrified observer of human nature. I will also admit that I concur with your conclusion. Here's a tip of the old ten-gallon fer yuh....
