| Your poem reminds me of a poem I read recently, written around the theme of baby's first words eventually turning into a torrent of prose. We have such hopes and dreams for our children none of which can be realized without freedom. |

Something so preciously given through the pain and loss of those before us who fought for this battle so we may be independent and free. So little words as tiny feet, but so much said for freedom spread. :)
Wonderful, breathtaking, awe inspiring... thank you for this reminder to all Vivian L Dawson

This is an amazing image! Nice sentiment, deftly expressed, Vivian...
.Jerry: I'm just glad that my freedom is not dependent upon the winds of political change... feeling sad for those for whom it is... true freedom is derived from a right relationship with God through Jesus our Savior and Lord... all other freedom is illusory, temporary and subject to the electoral vicissitudes you allude to when you talk about next November... and that, my friend is definitely not an oversimplification! |

As new parents wait, watch and pray that every achievement will be seen at the right stage of development, so we watch and pray. As our country teeters back and forth, we are waiting and hoping (and voting) for the steps that set us on the right path. Yes, Happy Birthday, America!
Free because of the Brave!

Vivian,
a tender photo representation with just enough words to convey the entire feeling. Although my two friends differ a little on our state of freedom and its future..I would just say that we are still the best deal in town. So I agree with you happy birthday U.S.A.

Never mind the previous closed mind comment. Each new child is free to explore more with each new 4th of July. The key is not to think of each birth in terms of growth in numbers, but growth in the quality of life. Faith has little dude do with the resolve that keeps us free.
