A Blur in the Distance
For once we stood afore ourselves
Impassioned lovers twined
For so much was and so much felt
When I was yer Celt sublime
Though time doth pass ere aching heart
For nary more the touch
Clutch yer thoughts unto thee soul
Hold whispered words thee must
Let it be thee book of love
The lesson that ye learned
Let all this sweet ere tender days
Be something that ye earned
For naught it true ye did not know
The tenderness of love
Until this gentle o’ sweet dove
In eyes hath showed ye of
Let fingers slide apart from we
And take yer own deep breath
As gently ye do back away
A heartbreak yet yer path
For once ye walk on down the road
And I become the mist
A distant blur ye from yer past
A vision reminisced
For do not grieve or shed ye tears
A hug I give to thee
Start a brave and strong young soul
Your journey which ye see
For gallant lad I am with ye
Behind ye I will stand
Though just a blur in distance
Sweet memories ye had
For on you live and always will
Nary be afraid
Your heart reborn with that of love
With new one that awaits
For nary a course will be the same
For each are all precious
Just tend ye heart so full of love
To another ye must confess
In moments time just think of me
For when ye gave that kiss
To know the feel of tender hug
Aye a blur in the distance
