Chasing An Attribute

Thoughts that bug you

Chasing an attribute
That lingered in my mind.

Only to catch it
Entwined in my thoughts.

Listing like a ship,
It weighed that heavy

On a mind barely able
To right its state of being.

Yet subliminal flashes
Eased my pondering.

And balanced a laden thought,
That could undo me.

Yes, I think I know what you mean. It's that thought that's like a butterfly on the edge of a flower which is only there for a moment, but then, it's gone.

Love ya!

Sometimes we are guilty of out-thinking ourselves, George, at least I know I have had those embarrassing moments often in my life.
