THE SPARK
Thousands of tiny genes fill every body cell,
Long before we’re born, there’s little to foretell
Our Body mould designed– a split second of conception,
Other things like intelligence, behaviour and perception;
Blue eyes or brown, skinny legs or curly mane,
Even some diseases, deliver certain blame
On heredity conditions, genes and chromosomes;
Cystic Fibrosis, Haemophilia or fragile X Syndrome;
Healthy, sick, rich or poor, our skin light or dark;
We are still individuals with our own special path
Where freewill is the spirit that dwells in every heart.
The journey of the soul to light the freewill spark.
