I walk around with scissors
               I have two pair.
One at the front door
and one at the back,

walking into the yard
       and specific chosen area

to sit, kneel, stoop, stand, admire, frown, grin, and absorb life

so much connecting when around growing plants
unique personalities of food and flowers

scissors deadhead, and clip back damage
yet most visually enjoyable is the bouquet of cut flowers.

Nature gives in  abundance,

I love how a specific branch will fall noticable as if "pick me" lingered  upon the air.

and I do....

pick them...

happiness home grown

I do that too from time to time, Debby. Thank you for sharing the happiness of earthy and real things. Love and best wishes,

It is such a joy to reap the bounty of mother nature enhanced by a little planting and nurturing. I used to bring my home grown and cut roses to the office to bring a little color and freshness to the ladies and visitors there.

Unless, and that's not often, a lady's hair demands a rose, I leave all that is alive in the flowerbed, for in vase or hair surely they sooner will be dead, I leave all that is be as it is, here and there I pick a tomato, or cut the chives, ha, but to each its own. Bless ya!
