Your burden may be keeping someone else up at night.

If I lie awake at night,
Thinking of your earthly plight,
Shame on me.
I should trust you to the Lord --
It is written in His word;
I believe.

If I toss and turn and cry,
Fearing the worst when you shall die,
Shame on you.
You should kneel before our God,
Confess your sin; escape His rod.
He'll save you.

My heart is heavy, head bowed low.
Afraid for you because I know
You don't care.
Your bitterness will lead to woe;
Jesus waits -- He loves you so.
He's always there.

Please, friend, make the choice today --
Give Him your burdens, hear Him say
The battle's won!
"My child, at last you've come to stay!
I Am the Truth, the Life, the Way;
Your new life's begun!"

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
(Matthew 11:28-30)

Too often, we view Christ's great works THEN as exalted and his power today, NOW, as questionable. ..
