 Red rose on pillow

Scented candle flickering

From salted sea breeze

Flames dance in fireplace

Fend off the fall’s early chill

Night arrives early

Taste red wine on lips

Feel satin and lace on skin

Set senses tingling

Small seaside cabin

Beach-weathered pale blue on white

A dream to fulfill…

I find this alluring poetry lovely in its brevity. The lines hold feathery glimpses that create a flirt with grace and class. Masterful creation of setting with so very few words: "Small seaside cabin/Beach-weathered pale blue on white." Wonderful, Felix* ~~ Diana
