One Look on that Cloud

Anticipating the return of Jesus, seeing him on the cloud.

One Look on that Cloud

One day he’s coming on a cloud that we’ll see,
A marvel bequeathed to those who believe.
In the blink of an eye a rapture takes place,
All who claim Jesus, through mercy and grace.

He showed us the way, the truth, and the life,
A love given to all, with all of his might.
A Saviour God gave to show us the way,
Accepting within you, is how you are saved.

His blessed assurance he promises to us,
Holy Spirit as comforter, in whom we’re to trust.
The light emanating, given to man,
Christ died on the cross, bared by nail pierced hands.

One look at the cloud Shekinah glory from God,
Mercy seat once encompassed, new believers now applaud.
His righteous ones waiting, his returning we share,
One look on that cloud, we’ll have no more cares.

First I saw the photo and recognized immediately that this would be a poem about my Lord! What a wonderful poem about The best Subject! And you captured the excitement of His coming, and shared the Gospel too.
Oh may God use this poem to touch many for His glory!

A beautiful poem that says it all. Hope for the future like no other can offer.
All the Kings and Kingdoms will eventually fade away And Jesus will still be King of all.

Amen my friend!

Peace love and blessings

"One Look on that Cloud" For many of us it will be a great day of rejoicing; whilst, sadly, for all others it'll be a very grieving day!

Indeed! Considering the signs and the times, this blessed day, the translation of the saints, could well be in the very near future. Your poem is a breath of cool air. peace ...
