This poem is about a dead tree with many charactaristics.

Alone it stands naked and ashamed.

Who cares anyway?

All around him there is life,

Won’t you just look at it?

Full of color and

The hope for tomorrow.

I could care less!

No one really notices the dead.

No one really appreciates the beauty,

It once presented.

But it was a living thing at…..

It is just another obstacle to walk around.

It is just something to step over.

It is something in the way.

Soon to be cut down.

I don’t care! Leave the dam thing be will you?

It is just an eye sore to most.

I see the beauty of that dead tree.

I appreciate the stark vivid limbs.

Shut up will you?

NO!

Unseen by the flourishing leaf engulfed,

Trees surrounding it.

I take the time,

To count the branches

And

Take a photograph of being..

Alone.
