The sun does drop behind the trees,

Knocking from the cold are my knees,

Warm all day without the heater,

The sun does in the daytime warm,

No reason to check the gas meter…

But fast it does in here get cold,

Or maybe I am just feeling my age, getting old,

Time to put on my jammies & warm slippers,

If I were a fish I’d have warm flippers…

My windows fogging, colder outside,

Can’t see worth a damn, from where I reside,

The sun changing its angle of descent,

The spring does approach, giving me a feeling of warm content…

Spring is no where close down here in the swamp. It was thirty-one this morning when Zoe and I took our first stroll around the block.
