| What a work of art. The imagery is priceless. The word choice couldn't have been better. I need to read more, but I had to comment before hand. I am anxious to read on. This is extremely well written with great imagery and language. I like the way the one word lines support the empty, dark theme and the repetiton of "deathly silence" is really effective. Good work!

Sounds like you live in North east Baltimore.
Actually the crows are our friends, they're nicer to be around plus they eat a lot of the small pest and some pigeons. It's those flying rat pigeons that get on my nerve. As many black birds as we have around here, you never see them all nested up messing up your house. |
