Another one by David's daughter Diana. This is about the divorce that happened when I was three.

Hey

I have a story to tell
About how my life changed from Heaven to Hell
In three seconds flat
My life became that

Sad tale

That brings tears to my eyes
My mother always said it was okay to cry
Now that they're apart
No one can keep my heart

Together

For another day
When the Devil finally has to pay
For all he's done
I'll know that my pain has won

When

I can fully love and trust again
And I believe that the truth is not a sin
When I can hug my mom or dad
Without only thinking of the bad

So bittersweet

The hour goes on,
Depression, I doubt it's gone
But there's always a brand new day
A brand new trust, a brand new way

To live

Divorce is so awful. Take hope that you still have them as parents even though they're not under the same roof. Love often comes in untraditional forms, and we are made the wiser because of it. You wlll experience awesome experiences because of the divorce.

First and foremost, you are writing beautiful, meaningful poetry. Just think, you would not have this remarkable thing to write and think about had it never happened.

What if . . . ?
Great job. Continue on.
