A rhought on Life's Journey

A Reminiscence

Just sitting dreaming, sometime crying sometimes beaming,
Reliving memories of days long ago. at times the tears flow,
So many years in a life of sadness and pleasure,
Now all that is left for me is to take my leisure.

So many years, to look back on, thoughts come at random
Yet in all this time, life we never life abandoned,
We lived each moment, drinking each drop of joy and sorrow,,
Taking each day as it came, often scared of tomorrw,

That doesn’t mean we faced our tomorrows with apprehension,
We dealt with each moment as it came, whether joy or tension,
Coping as best we could, having Faith, that all would turn out for good,
And through out our lives we survived all things as we knew we would,,

Faith that ray of hope, that overall feeling ot trust, trust in a higher power,
That supported us in our hour of need, which was quite often indeed,
Giving us the tenacity to live life through, as we all surely must,
So we can say, as we near the end of lifes journey, In God We Trust

John, this is a wonderful write. That's what God says, "Trust In Me." Most of us when we grow older think this way.
