This one is wild! I could see it as a curse from people he'd never known showing up insisting on their part. Very strange indeed.

Congrats for the latch key kids; they are older than their years and wiser in facing fear than imagined. It's a shame marriages don't hold up anymore and people get "tired" and go to another instead of staying home & being a family. Tearful at times, touching indeed!

Be Not Conformed to this World (Article) - 1/21/2007 7:52:26 AM
Excellant lesson; especially from the heart...it's prayers like this that help others see, there is still hope for them. We're all seeking God, and He's the only One who can "perfect those things which concernth you (and me); Thy mercy, O Lord, endureth forever; forsake not the works of thine own hands. (Psm. 138:8)

In an Interview with God. Would you Get the Job? (Article) - 1/5/2007 2:01:44 PM
HA! OKay, here's my current interview with G.O.D.: Gee, Odie, I've never been a dog owner. I just don't know if the cat thing is going to be worshipful enough for your way of pawning off puppies right under their mother's nose. Perhaps, if you return MY son, I'll consider NOT speaking against you in all of my writing for the rest of my life.
Face It, Let God Erase It (Article) - 1/3/2007 8:25:55 PM

Face It, Let God Erase It (Article) - 1/3/2007 5:53:24 PM
You are so absolutely, right. Once you have asked for forgiven, it is cast to ever be no more...God has forgotten it...but it is you that continues to hold on to the sin, beat yourself up, because, somewhere in your mind you really don't want to move forward. You want to be bound to the past of yesterday. I say, forget it, and move on, no sense in crying over spilled milk, it's a done deal once you ask it in Christ.
Stephanie, thanks for sharing this eye-opening article so many of us can't shake loose. Blessing always for your continue success.

All one has to do is look about them and see the Beauty that God has made. How can people look about them and proclaim "There is no God" is something that I will never understand. I choose to believe, and I choose to look at all the beautiful things our Heavenly Father has made. Very uplifting inspirational piece you have penned today, Stephanie; very well done! BRAVA!

Morning Glory (Poetry) - 4/23/2007 6:25:50 AM
"Cause I awoke again to Your morning glory
And You were there to hear my story"
Isn't it wonderful how He IS always there? Even on the days when we can't "feel" Him near, He is faithful.
As you have written about here, we are changeable, one day on top of the world, the next day filled with doubts. Yet our God never changes.
Bird Calls (Poetry) - 4/23/2007 6:16:03 AM
What a lovely, uplifting poem! It could be a song. You've called our attention to a wonderful lesson found in the songs of the birds. I like "from the sound of their rejoicing, He hadn't failed them yet"
A well-written exposition of your openness to God's messages in His small creatures.

What Jesus did for me (Poetry) - 3/8/2007 4:15:40 PM
This is lovely Stephanie, and though the tears look more like a pool, a bottle of remembrance of each tear, God's save, because of you. Each of us has our own bottle; the tears we'd shed throughout time. He must think they are also precious, to keep throughtout time. It's like a sentimental Father watching his child grow. He wants to keep everything about you. That's how much He love you!
Isn't It Grand!

Just BeCause I Care (Poetry) - 3/1/2007 2:39:16 PM
How often do I hold onto God's promises. The unconditional love over whelms me at times with His protective sustaining power. I wish we'd all seek Him as a deer pants for water...Beautiful indeed!
I'll Be Back for You my Greatness (Poetry) - 2/28/2007 4:48:07 PM
You got the right answer but I believe He also gives us friends here and now to help along the way.Just like the little girl to cry out in the storm & went to mommy & daddy's room to say she was friend. And daddy with his sleepy tone said 'go back to bed, Jesus is with you always'. The little girl looked into his eyes and said,'daddy, I need a body touch'.
You did this wonderfully and worthy offering to our Lord. Thank you!

Rather long, but a good exchange between you and your heavenly Father. You bring out many of the answers we give God, and His love and patience in providing His answers if we are truly seeking to trust and obey.
I can identify with the struggling, and I love the way He says, "My child, My child." What better title can we have than for Him to call us His child!

I'm Waiting (Poetry) - 1/10/2007 10:14:04 AM
Oh my Stephanie, this is outstanding and so true!!! We cannot recieve by complaining and spouting about things not being fair. God gave us life and all the small battles that we encounter daily are to prepare us for bigger issues we will face, the glorious thing is that when we overcome the little hurdles that life hands us, we are more prepared with spiritual armor to handle the big ones, and when the big battles are won, we are stronger. I always try to remember that God will never place more on me than I can bare...so you're so right...how can He work through a luke warm vessel, He said He would spew us out of His mouth if He returned and we were luke warm...very powerful write my friend, one that I have truly enjoyed, so glad that I stopped by your den...

Amen, Stephanie. If only more in our world would think like this, maybe this earth wouldn't be in the shape it is. This is a beautiful reminder of how simple life can be if we allow for it. After all, as John Lennon said, "All You Need Is Love!" Nice rhyming, too.
