Buried (Poetry) - 9/25/2011 6:18:06 PM
Ah, your title i "Buried," and I'm going to post one tomorrow titled "Funeral." Gotta love it. This poem is shatteringly fragile and hauntingly hurtful. The reason I say those things is because I have walked the same rode, thought the same thoughts and the future looked dim. But the future is not dim. It is what you make of it. I know you know that. A Poeish tale here . . .

THIS is a great write, Cela. I feel I am among the greats as I read and re-read this work of art. Depressing? Of course. Look out your window. Watch television (I don't). The world and everyone in it is falling apart. So this sad love poem can be juxtaposed to relate to the world . . . "and eyes of wood that cannot see, / this endless trek of misery." Yes.

Hi, Cela--Welcome to Authors Den. Heard about you from Lin Figgins. Love the rhythm and the imagery. Great picture, too. Carol

As I read your poem, I'm listening to B.B. King's "All Over Again". This has the feel of a good blues tune, Cela. All it needs is a hook! "...a thousand souls"? Try millions. Lost love is torture. And you have penned it well!! Blessings, Lin

Some of the world's greatest genius has been by "latecomers". Many people don't come into their own until later life. Do appreciate this wonderful poem, Cela! Lin

Cela, Sad, but you have your readers feeling those emotions as you felt writing them. Deborah

Angeline-2 (Poetry) - 1/30/2010 3:35:43 PM
What a mood you create. Refined expression of melancholia in this softly haunting write. Love the way you personify "her". Fine work, Cela! Blessings, Lin

Angeline-2 (Poetry) - 1/29/2010 7:10:51 PM

Sleepwalk (Poetry) - 1/22/2010 2:01:08 AM
Very well spoken as you seem to be letting mind and heart wander through the shadows...perhaps seeking for something lost or yet to be found. fee

Sleepwalk (Poetry) - 1/21/2010 6:17:08 PM
Somber, dark, and very compelling because you have very effectively recreated the mood (ambiance), Cela. Love and best wishes, Regis

The Hallway (Poetry) - 1/8/2010 3:29:44 PM
Appreciate feedback, Charlie. However, I am Cela. Cela writes Cela's poetry, and no one elses. The expressions are very dark and deep messages from a place I do not fully understand. The products, which are words, and their placement, are merely incidental.

Your words always seem to "grab me by the soul," Cela. The typo with "it's" in the last verse threw me off a little. I'm pretty sure that you mean to write "its" which is the possessive. Thank you for sharing your creative spirit. Love and best wishes, Regis
