Societies Image of Role Models (Article) - 11/22/2003 2:59:37 PM
i hear you kenya, but there is something about having a man around, not only for authority figure, but also chemically, biologically, i read osmething not so long ago talking about families and how young girls who don't have their fathers in the house reach puberty at an earlier age...i don't know what this means, but it did reaffirm the message that kids need both parents, or, at least, close family members of the opposite sex to truly teach them to be who they are, rather than what society 'wants' them to be...excellent write!

(((kenya))) it affected ALL nations, cultures, humanity--not just americans. but i must disagree a bit with deborah's statement--"...because if this were God's country, it would be a kingdom of peace." Israel is God's country, the Jewish people are His Chosen, why isn't Israel at peace? Just a thought... thought provoking, well written piece, i will always remember and never forget. (((HUGS))) and love, karla. :(

A day to remember (September 11, 2001) (Poetry) - 1/9/2003 6:43:01 AM
And the blue for Liberty. It not only affected Americans. I felt the tragady down here in Australia enough to write a book, which I did. I never personally knew anybody in WTC but I and many of my countrymen felt your pain. We have to learn from this so that they didn't die in vain. Tolerence, understanding and love. Wasn't that the message that Jesus left us? Nice write Kenya.
