Milton... when one has nothing but "a prayer"....that to me is the greatest gift. If everyone stopped for a minute and said a prayer for someone else, can you imagine the wonders that could be passed along? It makes me smile to think that someone would say a prayer for me...but since I can't count on that...I pray for me...and for many others as well... Very thoughtful write.. hugs, lindalaw

The way you make Loneliness a person, brings the reality of "it" more direct. I hadn't thought of loneliness in that way before, and now it gives me a different perspective. I've always believed that we can be in the middle of a room with many people around, and still be so lonely inside. Like Cynthia writes you, I agree...it is like a "Bucket List".. and I suppose we all have one of those..:-)) The key to life I believe, is simple...live each day as if it is our last...be kind, forgiving, and smile.. Altho I cry alot too, I do it in the peaceful time of the nite...when I am alone...it helps me to wash away the pain, so that the next day I can smile again... I never plan what I write when writing a "poem"....it just sort of spills forth...and I wonder how the real poets can create such beautiful words that seem to make such a difference in our lives...
