Do you believe in big foot? (Short Story) - 5/21/2009 5:11:03 PM
Great story, Dave; well done! I personally don't believe in Sasquatch, but if he exists, I pray I never encounter him: I may have an accident, and it ain't gonna be very pretty, if you know what I mean! LOL Well done! (((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :) I saw a movie once about Sasquatch, and he howled; I still can hear it in my mind from time to time. Nightmare City!! GAD!! What a chilling sound he made!!

Rides on waves...Football, My most embarrassing moment (Short Story) - 5/21/2009 5:08:41 PM

the drive home (Short Story) - 5/17/2009 8:57:49 AM
Dave, This is a truly inspiration write. How often do we go about our lives forgetting to look at the beauty that surrounds us. Truly gave me something to think about. Mary

Have you ever seen an Angel? (Short Story) - 5/16/2009 4:20:19 PM
Thank you Dave for reading my story about angels, and also thank you for sharing your story with me. I often wonder how God helps us sometimes and we don't even recognize his handiwork. Thank you again for your support. May God Bless, Daniel

Have you ever seen an Angel? (Short Story) - 5/13/2009 5:43:01 AM
You got this right, most come in the unrecognizable appearances. Don't feel guilty about it though, they come again. One thing about this, you should never give to those "kids" who beg, even if you are a Christian, they are part of a syndicate of beggars, and the government has passed a law discouraging this practice. Thanks for writing about my country and Olongapo, and yes we are a poor country because of corruption, greed, and the hypocrisy of the Catholic leaders of our government. Cynthia Cynthia

Rides on waves..My Mountain top experience (Short Story) - 5/13/2009 5:32:06 AM
This is wonderful, you had a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The mountains in my country are very beautiful and quiet, so quiet you'll only hear crickets and distant sounds of owls. The view of the sky is enchanting and yes, you'll sing out in praise! Glad you did! Thanks for this awe inspiring write about my country. Cynthia

time is fleeting (Poetry) - 9/22/2009 5:09:44 AM
You take us on a journey through time. I like how you capture the awe one has when they realize time has gone by. Great write! Sheila

who? (Poetry) - 7/4/2009 8:28:13 AM
Many, many, many here at the den have been abused.

Bipolar (Poetry) - 7/4/2009 8:26:24 AM
Your explaination of Bipolar is profound.

Humanity? (Poetry) - 7/4/2009 8:25:17 AM
Many of us share the same concerns.

My greatest fear (Poetry) - 7/4/2009 8:24:12 AM
Excellent writing.

My greatest fear (Poetry) - 6/24/2009 7:43:52 AM
What a relief! It was an awful, awful experience! (of course I experienced it with you--it was that good) The picture is horrific. My unreasonable fear is of heights. Don't know why. Was it my little brother's "blankie" draped on the attic windowsill? That really shook up my mom, but he was safe--just the thought of the tiny boy being there was scary. Still, all these years; that's all I can come up with. Connie

Humanity? (Poetry) - 6/24/2009 7:31:49 AM
Your thoughts here are sobering. Self-examination leads to change. My Father knows how much I need to change, but He is so merciful and patient with me. He alone is worthy!!! Connie

Bipolar (Poetry) - 6/24/2009 7:27:49 AM
This really saddens me because I have a bipolar grandson. I think my mother was bipolar too, but I'll never know for sure. I would be shocked by the seesaw of emotions you describe if I hadn't known Matthew. Good work, Dave. Welcome to Authors' Den! Connie

My greatest fear (Poetry) - 6/17/2009 4:36:11 AM

I really don't understand bi-polar disorder, but you make me see a clearer picture of what it is and what it must be like. Excellent! (((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)

Humanity? (Poetry) - 5/22/2009 2:43:48 AM

My greatest fear (Poetry) - 5/17/2009 5:16:05 PM
*shudders* This has a terrifying feeling of being buried alive, trapped in a claustrophobic hell ... gad. Add storms or spiders, and I'd be puddled into a faint - very, very well penned, the short lines only enhance the fear. Well done, Dave. (((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

My greatest fear: the dark. Also tight/enclosed spaces, spiders. I have several, but those are the three biggies. Great write, Seriously_Dave; that piccy only emphasizes things! WOW! (((HUGS))) and love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)
