Very cool- this makes me think a bit of Paul Laurence Dunbar's poems depicting a certain time period so visually, as yours has done with modern times.

The Call (Poetry) - 6/20/2009 3:08:17 AM
Simple yet profound. I like the way you put the words so plainly, yet it (the poem) resonates with strength.

Good News for Blues (Poetry) - 6/20/2009 3:06:08 AM
Very creative and prolific! I try to write poetry in "rap" but it gets
into a ballad, or worse, a rhythm and blues. Meaty content here!

Harvest Time (Poetry) - 6/20/2009 3:02:05 AM
The poem says it all, the seeds will grow and we grow with it. That's the blessing we receive.

The Cross (Poetry) - 6/20/2009 2:57:15 AM
I find deeper meanings in these lines, and the Cross is a declaration of God's love, when I ask how much He loves me, Jesus spreads His hands and says : "This much." He spread His hands on that cross for me.
Inspired,
Cynthia

The Golden Cord (Poetry) - 6/19/2009 8:27:01 PM
Kurt,
That was truly beautiful and an inspiration. To have a wonderful childhood memory for all these years. No one would believe you, but you know what you saw and give thanks to God still. A wondrous thing.

The Golden Cord (Poetry) - 6/19/2009 7:12:27 PM
I'm not sure about the poem it was more like a short story, nevertheless it was a good read. There are times I do need a golden cord! for sure
Cheers

TIME (Poetry) - 6/8/2009 2:54:33 PM
There is a ton of wisdom in these words, as Time is a fugitive we cannot hold and dreams are as fleeting as the seconds that tick away.
