I'm Blessed (Poetry) - 6/28/2009 12:59:56 AM
Beautiful poem.I wish everybody in this world would feel that way about their own lives the way that you express it in this poem. The last 2 lines of the first stanza,I am that way myself. There is nothing in this world that makes me happy then to make other people happy. For example, every Saturday I would go to the barbershop and I would wait patiently for it to be open. Some people would walk pass by and say good morning to me.Whenever they don't see me standing outside the barbershop in the mornings, they would ask what happen to me or say that they didn't see me.Its a good feeling that people would care about me in that type of way even though I don't know them half of my life. I told someone that every single day,I enjoy my life as if it was my birthday. With everything going in this world and in the news, people should be more grateful for the things they have instead of complaining about the things they don't have.I know its tough and difficult, but people should appreciate the littliest things.Thank you for sharing your heart, soul and passion for life in your works. It is greatly appreciated :-)

How Do We Differ? (Poetry) - 6/28/2009 12:46:55 AM
Kathy, this is a very beautiful poem with a great message.Everybody should be treated with love and respect no matter who you are, where you come from, what race you are and how you look like. This world is like a big box of ice cream.Different flavors, but has the same delicious taste of the human spirit.I enjoy reading this poem.take care EDWIN

I love Christmas, every bit of it, and I celebrate it as both Jesus' birthday and the more commercialized side, and I wish the hope of the season would be alive all year, it's a beautiful time, and how well you captured it all. Thanks for this, I can't wait till this time of the year!!
