Time Alone With God:A Devotional Study for Discovering Renewed Hope in God (Book) - 1/12/2010 4:28:15 PM|
I am the author of "The Rainbow in the Storm; Finding Hope Where There Isn't Any".
Below, I have posted several reviews, from readers on my website...
Hello my name is PENNI.. I wanted to share with you a moment, about a book
that touched my life! A book by author Diane K Chamberlain, " The Rainbow in the
Storm; Finding Hope Where There Isn‘t Any. I received this book, and began to
read it; immediately the words on the pages jumped off into my heart, and GOD
began to speak to me, about things in my life I have been going through, that I needed
to change. This book will bring you hope, because it did that for me. I lost my precious
husband a year and a half ago, and my heart has been broken. I felt so all
alone. I didn’t feel worthy of living without my Walt! Well, as I began to read this
book; God began to show me how he is ALWAYS IN CONTROL, and how we need to depend on him to bring us through any circumstance. God leads us down many
roads sometimes in our life so that we can become stronger. We might not
always understand why we are going through something, but, GOD IS IN
CHARGE, he shows us many things in many different ways, so, I know
as you read this book it will touch your life. Diane Chamberlain is truly a
woman of God and faith, she has been a rock in my life. She is never to
busy to answer a question or talk to me when I am down, she is a true
example of how we should live as Christians for Jesus! This book will
truly change you, and you will NEVER be the same after reading this book
as when you picked it up. Even now, as I am still walking through things,
I KNOW NOW.. GOD is with me everyday, leading me, helping me,
blessing me, putting his arms around me, and loving me!
Let GOD bring YOU HOPE... as you read this book, I pray God will
change, deliver you from all you are going through and you can become
closer to HIM ALSO!

Rainbow in the Storm, Finding Hope Where There Isn't Any is not only a perfect title for the book, it is a true story of hope and finding the rainbow during the storm. Diane Chamberlain faced many tragedies at a very young age, and somehow managed to find God when most people would be losing all faith! Through out every tragedy and trial God somehow seemed to lead a very young lady to learn how to lean on Him, and share her faith with others in the midst of her own pain. With every story of pain and loss there is also a story of hope and faith growing throughout every trial. Diane shows in a beautiful and elegant way how leaning on the Lord no matter what life dealt her, made her grow and become the woman that the Lord had planned for her to become. This book is not about the pain and loss that she had to face, as mush as it is about the strength and courage that God gave her to face her trials. This book can teach anyone that reads it to see that no matter what you are facing in life, if you look at it and see God as a much bigger picture, that no matter what you are facing, God will bring you through it. When all hope looks like it is gone, if you turn to Him, and just hold on to that tiny string of faith, God will bring you through it. This is a very powerful story of pain, tragedies, and loss, but also of strength, courage, hope and faith! You will not only feel her pain as you turn the pages, you will feel her hope and see her God given strength.and it will start to wear off on you too in a very moving way that only the Holy Spirit could have helped her to write each and every word! God will bless those that he leads to read this story!
When I read the book it made me realize how lucky I am; knowing that I am not in as bad a shape as I thought. Diane, you were the one going through all the trying things since you were a little girl. The book made me cry; knowing the one person who wrote this book; helped me get through a lot of things.
The book gave me God's view point and answers to all of the problems and stress I've been going through, for several years and a lot of the books on the market don't do that for me.
Diane has done an impressive job sharing her life story with us. As you read The Rainbow in the Storm (Finding Hope Where There Isn’t Any), you will quickly see God’s lov-ing, merciful hand at work repeatedly in the life of one of His children. Allow yourself to become immersed in the scrip-tures and the parts of Diane’s life she so willingly shares with us.
