Gladiator (Book) - 4/10/2012 1:58:13 PM
Gladiator is a short story told through the eyes of a prisoner who, after reading a couple of his book, I admire. Very well round writing and display of an excellent storyline. Well done Sir.

Upon Release From Prison ( Roll Call Volume 2 ) (Book) - 4/10/2012 1:57:31 PM
Upon Release is an inspirational sequel to "Roll Call". BJ is out of prison and is in a Catch-22 situation; he can't get a job because of his felonies, and he needs a job in order to stay at the shelter. But through it all, he and his girlfriend Annette maintained their faith in God; despite the struggles of trying to adjust on the outside, and all the roadblocks they encountered. Together, they take on "The War on Drugs" and the "Criminal Justice System". This is an amazing piece of work; a wonderful storyline and well put together. I personally salute the author for his ambitions and his hard work. R.J. Parker Author of True Crime Books

Underdog, A Definitive History of Pelican Bay State Prison's Super Max (Book) - 4/10/2012 1:55:48 PM
UNDERDOG by Glenn Langohr is a well written true prison story fraught with emotion and detail. At the beginning of the book, the author and his wife visits an animal shelter to adopt a dog. The poor dogs were totally neglected in their cages, much like the prisoners in the hole, they too were in cages. The author reveals a story about the hunger strike and the beating of prisoners. You would never hear about this in the media. The book is true. It's fact of what's going on in the prison system. Ironically, this book was released just one day after prisoner Christian Alexander Gomez, 27, dies during the hunger strike in a California prison
