midnight sky (Poetry) - 5/11/2003 4:13:37 AM
It is very lyrical, I do agree. It's a good write, but I think it would fulfill the fluidity that it deserves and has potential of being if you made the lines shorter. Good writing though Claire :)

A lot of us do this. Your analogies are fantastic, Claire. I think it's really brilliant, this poem. Lovin' the last line, "Someone please Save me..."
It's what we think, but for someone not to see the screaming of help in our eyes is even worse. Great!

Red (Poetry) - 12/28/2002 6:16:16 AM
you have painted with wonderful imagery. as we progress through this life, we see the fading of our youth, and the emergence of memory, in dream, in fantasy...so what is reality? it is the magick of the colours of our life (lives). to weave the tapestry of wholeness, which is our essence. RED..is the colour of richness, and of life itself.
I love how you... (Poetry) - 12/22/2002 4:19:40 AM

Scatty, Dizzy...Escape (Poetry) - 12/5/2002 11:23:26 AM
Thought-provoking write, Claire. You just made me think how much more fear is in the world since 9/11, how the masks have turned into shredded pieces, only to be pasted back together with cracks and holes pockmarking the whole...eerie thinking.
Don't Push me...Just leave me alone (Poetry) - 11/24/2002 2:30:39 PM

Nobody to catch me, nothing at all... (Poetry) - 11/24/2002 7:50:10 AM
But you will catch yourself. You don't need another.
Nobody to catch me, nothing at all... (Poetry) - 11/19/2002 11:44:10 AM
I hope this can offer you a little cheer.
There is always someone somewhere who wants to break your fall. ...............
Don't cry --
Broken hearted fool don't cry,
Dry your eyes and forget
you've every been in love.
Don't cry --
My little dreamer don't cry,
You should have realized
he'd break your heart in two.
You were oh so serious
while he was playing around,
To you love was so mysterious
and to him a game for a clown.
Don't cry --
Love for him cannot come true,
While you're crying for him
he'll be laughing at you.
Don't cry --
Let me mend your broken heart
and make your dream come true
with all my love for you.

Hope you find what you seek very soon. Bill

Emotions is where we find our strengh in poetry. The dry, lucid, arranged and pampered word soon dies. Give me the wild emotiion stuff ... tug at my heart ... make the treardrops fall. bill
