The Mystery of David's Bridge (Book) - 8/20/2009 4:37:39 AM
Sometimes I don't think people, even those who consider themselves of a higher intellect, really understand that when it says you can buy this fabulous book -- which I have in my bookcase -- at Amazon, Froogle, and Barnes and Noble it means that the book IS PUBLISHED! Jeez. Well, okay, I got that off my chest. This is a good murder mystery for those in the market for such.

Mystery Tea Service (Short Story) - 4/14/2010 7:36:57 AM

The Magic Box (Short Story) - 8/25/2009 4:19:29 AM
I believe I loved this even more than I did the first time I read it, Pam. What a beautifully told story of tragic love, not necessarily unfulfilled love, but tragic nonetheless. You have such a wonderful "feel" for this particular genre, the sensitive, somewhat unworldly story. Keep it up.

Dead Mans' Curve (Short Story) - 8/20/2009 4:47:13 AM
The manipulations of a devious mind knows no boundaries, and this evil story brings home that point. Good to see you are posting again, Pam, like me, huh?

Where Did It Go? (Poetry) - 12/21/2009 4:43:37 AM
One of your very best, Pamela. You have incorporated so much withing the borders of this poem that we can all read, nod our heads, and say she knows what she is talking about. Impressive and bittersweet.

Four Seasons (Haiku) (Poetry) - 12/15/2009 4:08:11 AM
A perfect and lucid measure of the seasons. You forgot one season, at least down here in the subtropics we have a fifth, and it is called the rainy season. Haha! Back to being serious. These four haiku's were expertly and realistically drawn . . .

Holiday Magic - Always (Poetry) - 12/14/2009 11:09:11 AM
You have very effectively described the joys and anticipation of the children; and it is unfortunate that as we grow older, we see to love that "magic." Love and best wishes, Regis

Holiday Magic - Always (Poetry) - 12/13/2009 5:12:27 AM

Tummy Talk (Poetry) - 12/2/2009 4:44:40 AM

Ode To A Toad (Poetry) - 10/12/2009 5:04:37 AM
Although humorous, told with a wisdom that will linger long after having been read ... well done, Pam. And Jerry's right ... reality doesn't always go along with folklore. I know. :( (((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Ode To A Toad (Poetry) - 10/12/2009 3:40:37 AM
A heavy dose of life's lessons here, Pam. We humans tend to be self aware more so than the other way. I believe that is because if we don't look out for ourselves we surely cannot expect others to do it for us. The "Prince" fantasy has been driven into little girls head from birth almost, by nursery rhymes and my mom and dad. Reality however, doesn't always go along with this bit of folklore.

Ode To A Toad (Poetry) - 10/12/2009 3:10:06 AM
Wow, this is a great poem! It has a wonderful beat, rhyme scheme and story. Great work!

My heart breaks anew in a moment of silence for all those who died Pamela, tears streaming down my face - what we lost can never be replaced - powerful. Powerful. (((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :(

The Very Last Minute (Poetry) - 9/11/2009 4:23:20 AM
I do not remember this, Pam, but then again I am old enough to get away with not remembering, eh? This is different and on the edge and you know I like both of those qualities in writing and poetry. Stand. Clap. Clap. Take a bow.

Bug-Mania! (Poetry) - 9/10/2009 11:48:27 AM
Ewww, I hate bugs. You wouldn't want to live here in Texas, if you don't like bugs: some of 'em are so big, you can ride 'em! Especially waterbugs *shudders*. Or else they bite. Fireants, spiders ... HATE 'em, but not these words: know how you feel! DEET will take care of (most of) them. =] (((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

The Magic of Books (Poetry) - 9/10/2009 11:46:34 AM

A Mother's Day Moment... (Poetry) - 9/10/2009 6:17:31 AM
A beautiful tribute to your Mother. You are correct in that we don't tend to view our mothers as women, just as moms. You have echoed my feelings toward my own Mother who passed away in Feb/2007. Thanks for sharing this. Anna

Star Messages (Poetry) - 9/1/2009 5:11:09 AM
Pam, First, welcome back, been too long since I've seen you here. I've missed you! Second, know what you mean: the evening my Daddy died, was outside on the front porch, the sun had set, and there was a cloud formation that caught my attention: it looked like one person holding a perfect heart in its (his?) hand - took pictures of it - it brought me peace and comfort. I often look up for a message from my earthly Daddy and my Heavenly Father - a beautiful, deeping meaningful write, very well penned. (((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

This is just a wonderful way to keep the love you have for your father alive. That he sends you these little tokens of his love for his daughter is not debatable. It really must be a satisfying, although tempered with sadness to see his love manifested in such a Heavenly way.

Umbrella Tail (Poetry) - 3/23/2005 7:53:08 AM
This is adorable and delightful! Very vivid word painting! etw

Umbrella Tail (Poetry) - 3/23/2005 7:44:33 AM
Gotta love it. This is why I love Pamela's brainthrust (is that a word?), taking a perfectly normal act and seeing something very special in it. Gotta love it. Oh. I said that already.

Umbrella Tail (Poetry) - 3/23/2005 7:29:43 AM
A natural umberalla :-) Love it and thanks for sharing. I do miss my squirrels but I am moving shortly......perhaps I will find a new family of squirrels?

Destination - Earth?! (Poetry) - 2/13/2005 3:11:18 AM
LOL - Brings back memories of some of those really old alien humor movies. Cute write. I enjoyed reading this - the mental picture it gave me made me laugh. Thanks for the smiles. Melanie

Destination - Earth?! (Poetry) - 2/11/2005 4:39:38 PM

Pam, this is great! I like the lively way you presented this idea. I can't imagine that we're the only ones. Sometimes it drives me crazy thinking about it. Maybe that's what's wrong with me. Great write, dear friend. xxxxoooo Janet

Destination - Earth?! (Poetry) - 2/9/2005 6:04:01 AM
I kind of like this one and wonder the same thing.

Destination - Earth?! (Poetry) - 2/9/2005 5:28:10 AM
Wonderful write. I enjoyed this one immensely. I like the style. Beware...there might be aliens among us... Read my earliest earliest story, "Moon Walker" in my personal site. Sandie May Angel a.k.a. Sandie Angel :o)

Destination - Earth?! (Poetry) - 2/9/2005 3:33:08 AM
Hey! Great musings, Pamela. Oh, by the way, I know for a fact that there are aliens among us, in fact my first wife fit that bill quite nicely. Like I said, when you stare at the stars strange thoughts can result and in your case you put the thoughts to pen and we are the better for it.

Snow Beauty (haiku) (Poetry) - 1/30/2005 7:01:41 AM
Yes! I can picture that as I sit here looking out the window at the green swamp and algae-covered bayou where I reside. Fantastic imagery, Pam.

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/10/2005 1:40:54 PM
I did enjoy this one, Pam. We "writer-types" are often two keystrokes away from agoraphobia. {wink, wink}

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/9/2005 12:48:43 PM
It couldn't be better said, Pamela, but here I go, getting ready to plunge back into another black hole of my little universe (another novel). LOL Best regards, Leland

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/8/2005 2:56:51 PM
(((pam))) don't apologize. :) know how it is--although poetry is my (stronger) suit. :) glad to see you're still here--i've missed you (((HUGS))) and love, karla. meanwhile, keep writing!!!!!!!!! :) excellent poem :)

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/8/2005 8:47:59 AM
As one who regularly writes stories myself, I enjoy the challenge that they present, and I prefer writing stories to poetry! So nice to see you here; been wondering where you have been...I have missed you! Thanks so much for sharing! (((HUGS))) and much love, your friend, Karen Lynn in Texas (have written over 1,460 stories now here!). :D

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/7/2005 11:39:08 PM
stories are exciting, poetry is enticing ...

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/7/2005 10:26:06 PM
Yes!!!!!!! I completely agree.

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/7/2005 8:38:02 PM
Keep releasing those beautiful butterflies, Pamela. Great to read you again. Love and peace. Regis

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/7/2005 5:48:53 PM
This is a fun write, Pam, but also serious. I love the way you describe what writing poetry does for you. It's like when I was painting portrait after portrait day after day. I found that if I did something wild and free in between, I felt so much better. So glad to see my buddy back here xxxooo Janet

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/7/2005 5:34:58 PM
Poetry sets me free too in many ways and I enjoyed this one. I never knew I had so many in me.

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/7/2005 4:46:30 PM
Oh, I don't know, Pamela, I fool around with doing both, writing poetry and writing novels AND writhing short stories. I can only say this, you are published, I am not. So, you must be doing it right, not those like me. Loved this one, so airy and full of pep, THAT is what your poems are almost all the time, as contrasted to my glood and doom ones.

Creative Freedom (Poetry) - 1/7/2005 4:25:01 PM
I often write poetry to take breaks from writing my stories too; sometimes it gives me more inspirations to write my stories. Good write Pamela. Sandie May Angel :o)

Looking Back (Poetry) - 12/7/2004 2:25:44 AM
It's funny how those days seem clearer, the older you get. I didn't go in for tie-dyed shirts, being almost one decade earlier I believe, for me it was circular skirts, or pencil slim skirts, 3 inch high heels and figure hugging sweaters. This is my first visit back to AD since around August sometime, where has the time gone? Jackie <> <

Looking Back (Poetry) - 11/27/2004 11:50:42 AM
Nicely done. Very creative, Pamela. Thank you. Love and peace. Regis

Looking Back (Poetry) - 11/21/2004 4:43:36 PM
This is a deviation from your usual upbeat self, but a very well written poem. I really enjoyed it. If it hadn't been for my ability to almost literally go back in time, I never would have been able to write my book.

Looking Back (Poetry) - 11/21/2004 4:33:45 PM
This brought back days of tie dying my best white T-shirts. And lets face it, Rock never lets us grow old. Well penned

Looking Back (Poetry) - 11/20/2004 8:42:14 PM
Heck, it works for me! Enjoyed this, Pamela.

Looking Back (Poetry) - 11/20/2004 5:48:22 PM
This is great, Pamela. I have never given up on wearing tie-dyes, they are bright, bold and beautiful...though I no longer dance naked at concerts, and that is a good thing! Wonderful outlook. Take care, Sherry

Looking Back (Poetry) - 11/20/2004 5:25:50 PM
Sometimes looking back brings forward new strengths from younger levels of understanding. Great write!

Looking Back (Poetry) - 11/20/2004 4:59:22 PM
As the former singer of Mott The Hoople, Ian Hunter, once sang, "I wish I wanted then, what I want now twice as much." Oh the memories!

Looking Back (Poetry) - 11/20/2004 4:50:58 PM
Wait! Hey! Darn it! Wait for me! Can I come? Great outlook and one that a lot of us need to consider. Please, wait, don't run . . . er . . . walk so fast, I'm coming.

Diamond Frost (Poetry) - 11/14/2004 10:08:26 AM
Pam, this little poem sparkles in my mind and makes me want to read it over and over. Beautiful, Dear friend.

Diamond Frost (Poetry) - 11/10/2004 10:08:05 AM

Diamond Frost (Poetry) - 11/10/2004 6:33:31 AM

Fathers hope for a lot of things. I see your dads hopes came true

If I Could Have Known.... (Poetry) - 10/16/2004 6:13:40 AM
Time, and a little more wisdom does have a tendency to make us see things more clearly and with a better perspective. In our hormonally-plauged youth, we fail to see what in right before our eyes. He is looking down and smiling.

If I Could Have Known.... (Poetry) - 10/15/2004 8:56:50 PM
Thank you for such a beautiful sharing of wisdom from the heart.

If I Could Have Known.... (Poetry) - 10/15/2004 5:42:20 PM
