The Minotaur Awakes (Poetry) - 3/21/2003 9:09:18 AM
i was drawn to this piece because i lived on crete as a child, and visited knossos palace numerous times, wondering about this myth, that of the minataur..i like the way that you personalize this, bu at the same time, make it a universal quest for truth and knowledge. i'd call this a wisdom drop. peace, poet.

Tapping the Vein of Night (Poetry) - 3/19/2003 11:09:23 PM
This poem, "Tapping the Vein of Night" is reality as it is with a touch of esoteric. It was written with fifty five words, including title, but the billions of messages in it are countless. I enjyed it.
I Salute the Author of "Tapping the Vein of Night.

Tapping the Vein of Night (Poetry) - 3/19/2003 1:38:32 PM
I am not a politician..
I do not know
The ways of war..
I can only imagine
The fear and suffering..
As bombs fall too fast..
Destroying all in itís path..
Ripping Body.. Family and Soul..
This is something that I know..
The ultimate price
Innocents will pay.
Many have no choice
But to stay..
No place to run..
No place to hide..
Churches and schools.
Is this really a necessary evil?
We have to do..
Or is it just an excuse..
for us to rule?
Blood will stain so many souls..
No one will escape..
This grave human toll
For being born in a dictatorship..
Lives we will split.
Not their choice
Clock is ticking
Running out of time.
Both sides will live ..
To regret what
Both sides will blame
The other one
Both sides believe
They are right.
Neither side willing
To give up this fight
There is no victory
Only shattered lives..
Where we bury the dead.
Americans will live
With this hell in their heads..
Institutions will be full..
Of our mentally ill.
Who cannot live..
With the ghosts
I donít understand war..
I never will.
Wow.. Profound and enticing ..Love this!

Sometimes I Hate Poetry (Poetry) - 1/6/2003 4:43:13 PM
"yet eternal is the hand that writes
beyond its reach." this is exactly what keeps the poet vital...

Faith in the Fire (Poetry) - 12/25/2002 5:17:21 AM
There is talent in the words but no substance in the poem. But perhaps this is the point, you see no substance in life - no purpose. But if you set all down, even softly, and retain nothing then the mind may indeed be awake - but empty. Best seek wisdom to weigh the substance of life to sift it and feel its worth in order that you might know what is worthy of keeping. In whom to trust, in whom to believe, in whom to have faith!
Merry Christmas also!
Faith in the Fire (Poetry) - 12/25/2002 3:38:59 AM
You practice a lot or reflection. Has it given you any direction? I hope so. Does wheel spinning describe your life. Kind of sounds like it. Merry Christmas Bill Murray
to the words trapped in my skull like rabid bats (Poetry) - 11/26/2002 4:39:45 AM
This is quite something. The language makes the whole thing palpable, and I am left wondering whether summer wind blew through the room, or if it was just my imagination. Damn fine piece.

conquered (Poetry) - 11/18/2002 11:33:10 AM
You must have been touched by a "Heavenly
Presence" to write this poem. It is marvellous. I went to look at your Bio and read about you to know you better when I read. SHAME SHAME SHAME! No bio. You are nothing ... merely a ghost at AD. I know that is not what you want. Do you feel so low and unimportant to say nothing. Bill
truth laughs (Poetry) - 11/15/2002 6:20:36 AM
truth laughs only when we allow it to do so... the certainty of the absolute is only fleeting for it is constantly renewing itself within our beings... i like the vein of this poem, though death is not an end but a link in the cycle of existence...
you drain my nightmare (Poetry) - 11/14/2002 11:47:34 AM
Wow!! Blew me away, MC!! What wonderful images you evoke:
"a surge of molten amethyst."
"Your raging beauty could slice through this
"She rides an avalanche through
the membrane of the storm."
