Arlene's Passing (Short Story) - 4/3/2003 6:31:02 PM
"Arlene's Passing" is a very touching story. A friendship that stood the test of time, felt the last sigh and reborn in the psychobiology of a friend's heart.
I have learned a lesson of togetherness and love.
I Salute the Author of "Arlene's Passing".

Arlene's Passing (Short Story) - 2/6/2003 3:39:04 PM
This is a beautiful tribute for your friend, Arlene. i know just how you felt. I took my friend Jo's pulse for the last time and called the doctor to tell him she had gone home to be with Jesus. About twelve hours before, she had called me to her bedside and asked, " Can you see them? There are Pa, Mother, Marg, Helen, Don and Jim. They're all dressed up and ready for the party. They are waiting for me to join the." These were her parents, sister and brother who were alreay in Heaven. It are less that twelve hours later that she did join them and I felt the fluttering of the angels wings are they guided her home to Heaven.

Deborah,
Precious, precious testimony! I realize the truth of your experience--I have had similar ones, and am left in pure awe. The beauty of it is, more people are sharing their stories freely now--now is a time for all Spiritual revealings of the heart, I believe. Love Vicky
Tribute To Michael Jackson: A Mortal Legacy (Poetry) - 8/28/2009 4:26:40 PM
A tribute truly worthy of a "King of Pop." Not at all hard to imagine him setting these lines to music and dancing with the poet across a brilliantly shining rainbow. Thank you for the great read.

Auburn Of Autumn (Poetry) - 3/31/2008 2:45:46 PM
There is a real feeling of magic and fairy tale in this that is delightful! I am not sure if you caught the typo, but it should be "bare" arms. The picture is as beautiful as your poem :) Blessings, Michelle

The Corporate Machine (Poetry) - 11/9/2007 11:23:10 PM
Corporate greed merely feeds my angst...one example after another of the green they covet above humanity. Beautifully written, Deborah.

The Almighty Dollar has become the new God for many today I am sad to say. Too much greed and not enough compassion and good will. Fantastic write.....

So very true, and big government is a prime candidate of this, my own Canadian gov't that I spent working for 30 years when my health failed and they forced me to take early retirement when over payments and taxation threatened to bamnkrupt me the girl who called said sell your home.
Cold voice of automation.

The Ripper (Poetry) - 5/9/2007 3:12:38 AM
Wow! What a write! Powerful and thought provoking indeed! Hadn't thought about this character in a while! Well written about an evil that seems to exist with much of mankind today...can't turn the news on without some horrible incident being broadcasted from all over the world! Enjoyed, great write!
Blessings,
