Arlene's Passing (Short Story) - 4/3/2003 6:31:02 PM
"Arlene's Passing" is a very touching story. A friendship that stood the test of time, felt the last sigh and reborn in the psychobiology of a friend's heart. I have learned a lesson of togetherness and love. I Salute the Author of "Arlene's Passing". Andre Emmanuel Bendavi ben-YEHU

Arlene's Passing (Short Story) - 2/6/2003 3:39:04 PM
This is a beautiful tribute for your friend, Arlene. i know just how you felt. I took my friend Jo's pulse for the last time and called the doctor to tell him she had gone home to be with Jesus. About twelve hours before, she had called me to her bedside and asked, " Can you see them? There are Pa, Mother, Marg, Helen, Don and Jim. They're all dressed up and ready for the party. They are waiting for me to join the." These were her parents, sister and brother who were alreay in Heaven. It are less that twelve hours later that she did join them and I felt the fluttering of the angels wings are they guided her home to Heaven. Emily Foster

In any relationships that falter and come to an end there is always a sense of loss and often anger. This could be directed at the partner, at themselves of at the world. Sad thing is the best we can hope for is to give them time to come around and accept that we are not the enemy You captured this well... fee

Dawn Of Spring (Poetry) - 3/9/2006 11:27:01 PM
It's just a marvelous thought, this poem Dawn of Spring. The picture is such a jovial entrance into spring. The flute player rat gnome for a hat, has a pinecone on his head, the air swirling between the layers, fertilizing new adventures, lifting the kiss and floating it to whomever it is intended. Lovely spring poetry, Deborah. Nice to see you posting again. Blessed Be. Sage

Elemental Requirements (Poetry) - 3/8/2006 11:51:03 PM
The Light does more than fulfill our deepest desires and wishes, because It is capable of seeing if they concur with our paths through space and time. So whether we think we've been heard or not depends on the nature of our prayers and gradually we learn to distinguish the trivia from the meaningful. Each soul according to its measure of advancement, is given or denied whatever fits into his or her scope of awareness, all of which is done from the compassionate heart of the Light, which is Love. RAge

It Shall Be Opened (Poetry) - 11/21/2005 5:38:49 AM
A POwerful prayer, almost a spiritual chant, I'm sure the answer lies within the extent of this poem, coming as a reminder to perceive our present hour. Metaphysics interplay with natural theology here. Thanks Deborah. Sage

It Shall Be Opened (Poetry) - 11/21/2005 4:30:51 AM

It Shall Be Opened (Poetry) - 11/21/2005 3:00:18 AM
Deborah, Beautiful longing write. He gives us the tools and the means but lets us make our own decisions. The freedom of choice, if you will. I hope I have not missed your point here. I like the poem but love those opening lines. Will you ever, my angel, see the soft and caring heart within? All you seem to see is the shell of denial you have placed yourself in.

The Raven I, II & III (Poetry) - 11/16/2005 9:01:47 AM
Marvelous. So creative!! 'Pea' <3

The Raven I, II & III (Poetry) - 11/14/2005 6:49:07 PM
The three parts to this is very wise. I love how it is divided into three parts, strength, intelligence, and freedom. The author is very perceptive of what she saw of Raven. This is personal for me, and I accept this as a Buddhist trilogy, as in a non-ego centeredness, instead nature's path of enlightment. Why this is personal to me is that I am a wolf keeper and raven leads wolf to food, and in kind return for this, wolf leaves raven leftovers. This is why you see pictures of ravens feeding on a still meaty carcass and the wolves are in close company. Both the Raven and the Wolf, through literary tales have been portrayed as evil. Perhaps that is why they look out after one another. There is a fusion of intelligence and enlightment here, giving this poem its strength. Sending my Goddess prayer back to you on the calm glide of a raven's feather, Deborah. "An it harm none, do what ye will." Blessed be. The five points of the pentacle; air, earth, fire, water, and spirit. Sage

The Shadow Of A Suicide (Poetry) - 9/29/2005 3:13:37 AM
Deborah, Very sad poem. I agree with you, suicide is indeed a selfish act. It truly robs ones potentiality. How can one justify taking their own life when there are many terminally ill people who would give anything for more time. Very well written poem.

Feathers (Poetry) - 9/23/2005 1:04:18 PM
I LOVE feathers!! I have studied them for my writing projects. The primary flight feathers intrigue me, and then the contour, and then the downy ones which insulate. I love feather boas. I write with a feather-quill pen I made dipped in India ink. There is quite a heartfelt story of a damaged loon from an oil spill in my novel The Buckskin Skirt Oar Traveler. And I learned from studying the flamingo that their feathers are pink because of their algae-based diet. Yes, a lot can be learned from feathers. They are dynamically spiritual! Sage
