68 A.D. (Book) - 3/17/2006 11:15:59 PM
Gail Bellenger is very knowledgeable about her ancient Roman history and has chosen an interesting period to write about. The year 68 A.D. would see the terms of four different emperors before Vespasian would bring stability back to the empire. I like the writer's use of contemporary language to impart her interesting story.

My girlfiend made me read "68 AD". I haven't read any fiction for about 10+ years. WOW. The book is alive. It really is good! I want more!
I expect this "68 AD" to be made into a big budget motion picture!

Very well written. Reminded me of a "Twilight Zone" episode. You successfully engaged the reader so that I was quickly concerned about the characters, and yet sprang a surprise twist with the conclusion. Well done.
