About the Pome Don't Say Good Bye (Short Story) - 12/24/2011 1:26:45 PM
yes...all beings, all situations on our lives as they come and go are for every reason, His reason!

the story behind the Pome for Garth Brooks (Short Story) - 12/2/2007 3:08:51 AM
Garth is a driving force behind your poem; and you captured that well. He is an entertainer's entertainer; but I can't handle the loud guitars, the fireworks, the rock show feel to his concerts. It hurts my ears, bothers my eyes. So I just don't go to see him anymore. I'd much rather see someone like Loretta Lynn or Alan Jackson, people who can still entertain, but do it in a way that doesn't drive the older country music fans away. I am more of a traditioanl country music fan; Garth is country, but he's also too "rock" for my traditioanalist taste buds. (I DO like a lot of his music though, particularly his early stuff, when he first started.) (((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)
