Sending a Voice: Native Americans in the Movies (Short Story) - 5/19/2012 12:28:57 PM
A great idea to put this out there, only as a Cherokee, I wish MORE people could see this. Also, did you leave out the Johnny Crawford one on purpose, or like me, forget the dang title? It was about the Arikara, and I found it delightful. But of course the wooden dialogue inflicted on EVERY character in it... But positive movies about my people, from that era, well, beggars can't be choosers, can we? I will return and use this to select movies to watch and books to read.
Interview with Jesus the Christ (Short Story) - 10/20/2011 8:07:12 AM
Great interview. I must say all of my thoughts and feelings on this subject were covered.......and very well. A coincidence today, I actually don't believe in "coincidence", led me to Daniel A. Brown's writings to my great pleasure. I will spend this morning reading all of the works posted here.
There Exists A Fine Line: Michael Metelica and the Renaissance Community (Short Story) - 10/8/2011 3:35:01 PM
I heard about the Brotherhood of the Spirit in 1971, the year I graduated from high school. A couple schoolmates who had graduated the year before had gone up there and joined. Some of my friends would go up there for a weekend and come back with, well, somewhat alarming anecdotes--scenarios where certain groups wouldn't associate with others, based on some kind of elitist standards regarding degree of enlightenment of the group in question--or something like that! Thanks for writing & sharing this article, which throws light on a very intriguing subject! KS
Is the Tea Party Movement a Right-Wing Front? (Article) - 3/23/2010 3:18:47 AM
Daniel,
This is the most insightful and well-written article I've read regarding the Tea Party movement and I salute your pen. Everything you've written here is true. These misguided and misled people are so brainwashed by the likes of Limbaugh & watching too much Fox TV and so enamored with their Princess Palin that they simply have tuned out of reality. When presented with facts, they shrink and shrivel like violets. Please keep sharing your insights with us. I look forward to reading more of you.
Best Regards,
Joseph
