Hope (Poetry) - 1/7/2010 11:08:34 PM
How inspiring!!! Hope is the difference, no matter the illness, as I could really relate to this with the chronic pain condition I have-especially this part- Inner Strength reaches potential, with acceptance; however, acceptance.............never equals giving up! Alot of people who are not ill don't understand that balance of thinking of what you CAN still do and not what you CANT-you accept that there are limitations, but then concentrate on the "I Can's". I love this uplifting poem.

WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE...I KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE. I GIVE A 'SHOUT OUT' TO YOU AND ALL THOSE WHO ARE CANCER SURVIVORS AND TO THOSE DEDICATED WORKERS WHO ARE 'CLIMBING' BESIDE THOSE, WHO NOW 'CLIMB' WHAT SEEMS LIKE AN IMPOSSIBLE MOUNTAIN...ENCOURAGING THEM IN WHATEVER WAY THEY CAN. MAY GOD STRENGTHEN, GUIDE AND HEAL. THANKS FOR SHARING AND BLESSINGS. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

When The Angels Attack (Poetry) - 1/2/2010 10:45:50 PM
Wow, there is much to be taken from this, for sure. I think that no one should judge another person unless they walk in their shoes, so I won't be commenting on the meaning but on the poem itself- it is very effective in drawing out the reader's emotion because it is something many people do not want to face, but it does happen in life at times that a parent feels this way, some may say for a good or bad reason, but as a poem, it works in evoking thoughts in the reader, which is always good. The title alone will draw you in, but as a person who loves angels, I was expecting maybe an alternative view of angels as what they also are-not little cherubs, but the avenging sort, like Michael, lol. I liked this and that fact that is evoked such emotion and pushes the line rather than resorting to typical teapot and flower poetry.

Reading your bio and looking at your site, interesting. Each to their own. The poem screams of someone lost, searching, searching, but they know not. I'll be quiet from here, other than the sons pain is nay his shame. A mirror will answer much. No fear, God loves you more than you realise.

Not very hard to "disclose the intended meaning" with this one, my friend / I checked out your other site and joined / Sad poem, but reality is that at time . . .
