How quickly angry words crush the spirit of a love
That seemed destined for forever
Their weight turning friendship to enmity
Leaving us in a breathless freefall
Accelerating from one accusation to another like a bullet
Whose trajectory aims
Straight for the soul
Floor by floor, year by year
Until we hit bottom
Heartbreaking write.. When love dies .. nothing is sadder
