Dear Sandy, First I welcome you in our Den and I hope that you will find here an extended family of caring writers. I am touched by the loss of your brother an I feel sorry for you and for your parents. Nothing is more painful than the loss of a member of a family. What you expressed in this poem is the naked truth. I am very happy that you discovered that unfortunatly many people play the comedy. This is the influence of many bad factors which I find unnecessary to enumerate. Be happy with what you have and you will realize how life is responding to your positiveness. When I was a kid my mom used to tell me: " Smile at life and life will smile at you. Much luck and keep writing and express yourself freely. Emile
Armageddon's Drug (Poetry) - 2/1/2010 5:35:52 PM
Strange poem, Sandy, but strange in a good way. Sometimes when pain is everywhere within you there is no choice but to go with it and let it have its way with you for a time. You have capsuled this wonderful and tragic poem using heartfelt emotions. As I read on the faster my heart began to beat, I was actually into the pain you wrote of. By the time I finished reading it I felt almost like I had been the one writing the poem. that means you are good at latching onto a readers soul, and that will forever and always be able to connect poet to reader.
Welcome to AD!!!
