On the whole, I agree with most of what you say, with this exception; if the salesperson has not spent enough time qualifying the client in terms of his/her interest and ability to make a buying decision...the salesperson will be on the short end of the stick. The best way to accomplish the goal of making the sale is by the salesperson asking the client excellent questions, continually. Cheers, Dan
