beautiful tribute to your friend, and so glad you aren't leaving! that is great news! as for the slimeball who ripped up your poetry, they don't know real talent, and they are just jealous. don't let their negativity bring you down; you have had too much of it in your life; and you are much better than that! i will be praying for you, chad. love you, guy! your friend in texas, karen lynn. (((HUGS))) :)

To the unknown friend (Poetry) - 5/20/2003 6:50:06 AM
Chad.. Just write hun.. Hold your chin up sweetie.. and write. Knowing that the Den family here are so glad you are staying. Let the negatives just slide off your back. The positives far outshine the negatives in every way. They have no power over you other than the power you allow them to have. (smile) So just smile and move on and poof, any power they might have thought they had has simply vanished in the brilliance of your smile. Love ya kiddo.. Keep up the great work! Melanie

To the unknown friend (Poetry) - 5/20/2003 5:13:44 AM
This is just another way to slant anyone. I had made a post of regarding Guardian Angel, and then all of a sudden, all this is going on. Please Chad, I hope you don't think it was me, FOR IT WASN'T ME!!!!!! If anyone wants to do anything and blame it on me and please at least state your real name. I have enough problems at home, I don't need this. I'm certain that my hubby won't do it either. He's not the kind of person who would do a thing like this. Please Chad and everyone, if you need I can resign and go somewhere else to some other boards, but I certainly don't need anyone to think like this of me. I am not the "Guardian Angel" who has done this. If somebody needs me to be away from here, just say so. Don't do this and blame it on me. Sandie Angel :o(

To the unknown friend (Poetry) - 5/20/2003 5:04:58 AM
Phantom,,,I really don't think Angel was the word they should have chosen to be their name. You are right, they were cruel, and because of those like them, those like us should push forward and write and post even more than ever. Don't let them win! If you leave they will win. They don't deserve such gratifying satisfaction,,,Lisa

To the unknown friend (Poetry) - 5/20/2003 4:47:38 AM

Chad this is pathetic! How shameful to expose your condition like this knowing someone will pay the $9.95 cents to stay one year. Better to have some pride and pay it yourself or go. At your young age, you should not have to depend on charity.
