Character Lessons from Corporate Reform Bill (Article) - 9/3/2003 2:50:28 AM
Fine writing! There is no doubt that there are "bad" bussinessmen, just as there are "bad" or unscrupulous doctors, lawyers, teachers and cops. It's also true that the investing climate, fueled by hundreds of billions from pension funds, 457s and 401Ks has increased the pressure on the short-term Corporate view. Perhaps the Corporate Reform Bill will help, but it doesn't seem likely that it'll do anything about the incestuous relation between CEos and the Boards of Directors. Failed CEOs with "the right connections" still get recycled and too often failure at that level is rewarded with a "Golden Parachute" instead of the pink slip a failed janitor would get. This is an excellent article on a complex topic.

The Search for Significance, part three of three (Article) - 7/2/2003 5:02:29 PM
A good wake-up call article to make the reader focus on what is most important. Nice use of quotes too. Bill Cottringer

Winning Balance (Article) - 7/2/2003 5:00:14 PM
Achieving balance in everything we do--talking and listening, taking care of ourselves and serving others, working and playing, being serious and laughing, etc., is the main aim of existance. Nice article, well done as usual MS. Barnett. Cheerio, Bill Cottringer

Bridging the Generation Values Gaps (Article) - 7/2/2003 4:57:05 PM
Hey my good friend--This is a tremendious article. I think when we all take the time to understand our differences which are creating by our unique thinking styles, we get more time to enjoy the good stuff--our similarities. Our similarities are always obvious--The truth and proper values. I enjoyed your article Rebecca! Regards, Bill Cottringer
