Visit from an angel (Short Story) - 7/26/2012 11:44:01 AM
Much better to dream of angels, whether they exist or not isn't the question. They exist in your dream, and I assume in your wakeful state. Also the experience was a joyous one, and not like other dreams which are certainly not. I'm happy for your dream. Maybe she will return.

sixth sense (Short Story) - 7/17/2011 11:18:30 AM
Great story, Baz. I know those feelings. The day my mother died I thought, "I shouldn't go off when she's going to die today." Then, like your heroine, shook myself and told myself not to be so silly...

Why is letting go so hard? (Article) - 4/16/2011 9:39:08 AM
That makes sense to me as well, Baz. I think the healing has to come from within oneself; easier said than done. Thank you. Love and best wishes, Regis

I agree, Baz, that they would make good bookmarks. People like short readings that inspire. I make bookmarks also. I sometimes use pictures at the top, or attach tiny dried flowers with a dot of glue, then laminate them. They are beautiful, but take a lot of (enjoyable) work. Have fun with yours! Connie

Lazy days (Poetry) - 1/3/2012 4:01:32 AM
What a good lookin big boy you're Sammy is! And he really reminds me of one of our cats. I found him living behind a factory, and he was skinny as a rail. Today, he's a huge, rolly-polly guy who likes to hang out with my dogs and get belly rubs. We now call him Fat Louie!

Lazy days (Poetry) - 1/2/2012 9:29:18 AM
What a character you are!! No wonder they can't resist...but you own them, right? Wish I could pet you. Tickle your belly! Want you to know you have inspired me. I am going to laze in the sun more often! Won't catch me turning down tuna!! Not into meat, but I am glad you enjoy it. Give the lady who [half-?]owns you a message for me, will ya? Tell her I like her poem!! Pic's great!! Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Rewind time (Poetry) - 12/30/2011 2:54:27 PM
This is so sad. Knot knowing if "you are gone" means just gone away or gone as in death. Either way, it can have the same effect upon one who loved the one gone.

All i want for christmas is you (Poetry) - 12/25/2011 3:28:47 PM

When we two parted (Poetry) - 12/7/2011 11:06:37 PM
FROM THE LAST STANZA I GET THE IMPRESSION THAT THE PERSON IS NOT DEAD IN REALITY BUT CERTAINLY 'DEAD' AND 'COLD' IN AS FAR AS THE LONG AGO RELATIONSHIP HE SPEAKS OF IS CONCERNED...BUT IT SEEMS UPON HEARING SOME NEWS REGARDING THE INDIVIDUAL, OLD FEELINGS ARE STIRRED WHICH BRINGS FORTH REGRETS FOR THE FAILED, SECRET AFFAIR. IN ANY CASE, BYRON HAS, OF COURSE, EXPRESSED HIS EMOTIONS THAT ARE FULL OF 'RUE' WELL. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS & FAITH... JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

If it was the other way round (Poetry) - 12/7/2011 10:46:35 PM
GRIEF IS SO PERSONAL...ONE CANNOT SAY HOW THEY WOULD REACT TO THE DEATH OF ANOTHER, THEY CAN ONLY SPECULATE AND WONDER...'IF'... WELL DONE, BAZ...THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH... JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

If it was the other way round (Poetry) - 12/4/2011 12:42:45 PM
...there are no rules to grieving. Even though we know they are in a much better place, we still wish they could be here with skin on. And yet, out of such devastating sadness we grow in many, many ways, God put him in your life for a reason, somewhen you'll discover the reason. And be able to help those who have similar pains of lose. BTW, is the pic of Sheffield Park? It does look like a Capability Brown design.

If it was the other way round (Poetry) - 12/4/2011 12:07:58 PM
To every loss there's a need to grieve; and so, whichever way round it still could cause some sadness, Baz. Blessings!

Can't climb another mountain (Poetry) - 11/14/2011 9:06:30 PM
I KNOW WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT, BAZ...BUT YOU ARE LOOKING AT THAT MOUNTAIN AS A 'HINDRANCE' RATHER THAN A 'LADDER'. WE CAN DO 'NOTHING' ON OUR OWN. THE WORD OF GOD SAYS, '...WHEN WE ARE WEAK, THEN...HE IS STRONG...' THE WORD ALSO SAYS, '...THE BATTLE IS NOT OURS...IT BELONGS TO GOD...' OF COURSE 'YOU' CAN'T CLIMB ANOTHER MOUNTAIN BUT THERE IS SOMEONE WHO CAN. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ASK. NEVER DOUBT THAT GOD IS WITH YOU AND THAT HE LOVES YOU. WHENEVER YOU FEEL LIKE IT PLEASE READ(NO COMMENTS-JUST READ); 'MY LORD, MY LORD', 'HE WHISPERS', 'SHALL I STAND ALONE?', 'YOUR MOUNTAIN', 'I TRUST YOU LORD'. WE ALL HAVE THOSE 'MOUNTAINS', BAZ...PLEASE, BE ENCOURAGED AND PRAY! LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH... JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

A dogs life (Poetry) - 9/17/2011 9:44:30 AM
In America we have the SPCA. We must be a copy of the Royal one. No dog should ever be tied up or confined to a house. When not sleeping to preserve their energy, dogs are very energetic and need room to roam and use their very keen sense of smell to understand their surroundings and locate other dogs. Too many Americans think they can care for a dog but all they do is confine them to a sort of prison of misguided love. My sister is doing that right now to to a pair of beautiful great Danes. She always starts off meaning well, but in the end she grows tired of her playthings and starts to abuse them. Ron

This works just as well without the photo. It often makes you wonder what goes through a dog or cat's mind, doesn't it? My cat probably thinks, "I wish this crazy lady would stop kissing me so much." LOL :)
