Vengeance Lies In Wait (Book) - 9/23/2011 10:54:23 AM
The story has my attention so far. Don't tell me, but I am wondering in my mind if the man who buried the body is actually the murderer.
On another note, have you seen my recent short story "I Have Proof?"
Heaven Spent (Kindle Edition) (Book) - 9/3/2011 12:40:53 PM
The dialogue reminded me of the first summer I spent with my 80 yr.old grandparents. I did not know them.I was only nine years old, from another country, & although I spoke english talking with them was difficult. The author successfully captured the ambiance, that prevales in this particular excerpt.I am totally sold I want to know more, what happens, and what are those secrets that must exist...
Heaven Spent (Kindle Edition) (Book) - 9/3/2011 6:48:24 AM
My first thoughts is that you're addressing the age old generation gap with the elderly, set in his ways viccar and the aspiring new curate who probably has lots of new ideas of her own. Am, I in the right ball park?
I also get the impression is that Polly is about to have her illusions about church work and village life totally shattered.
These are my honest impressions from what I have just read and if they are right, then this will be a very good read.
Children's Stories (Book) - 5/3/2011 2:49:14 AM
Each of these stories is based on a gospel reading, but since you have to delve to discover the gospel theme, they can be enjoyed by those of faith or those of no faith.
For preachers looking for "something to say to the children", each story is based on the weekly reading from the Revised Common Lectionary, Year B.

The Smallest Angel (Short Story) - 1/30/2012 5:25:10 PM
As a rule, I tend to avoid so-called 'inspirational' stories. Same goes for those with religious themes. In the future, I will make exceptions for you. The imagery was absolutely marvelous! With that kind of talent on display, I don't care what the hell you choose to write about. This was simply a terrific piece of writing.
A No-No (Short Story) - 1/23/2012 12:17:58 PM

Bravo Janice! No wonder you won a prize with this story. I'm not generally a fan of murder mysteries, but you kept me enthralled to the last line with this one. Thank you. It was very entertaining and extremely well-written. I loved the little twist at the end. Keep it going . . . Val.

A great idea Janice. I, in Australia, have followed your suggestion, and have ordered two of your books at my local library. It cost me nothing, and although I'll have to wait one or two months for the books to arrive, once there they will be on the shelves for everyone in our community to borrow and read. The word will soon spread, and when the time comes to buy birthday and Christmas presents, hopefully your books will be remembered. Good one Janice!
Good News - Wealth (Article) - 5/17/2011 2:33:47 PM
Money can sometimes be a drug. Like heroin, some people got to have as much money as they can get, they never have enough so they got to get more. If someone else gets hurt in the process, then they think they win. That is why wealth addicts are as bad or worse than drug addicts.
Show Yourself, God. (Poetry) - 7/24/2014 3:26:41 AM
Loved it! Great poetry! :o)
Show Yourself, God. (Poetry) - 2/9/2012 11:21:05 PM
Can't argue with this, Janice. I'd say you got it just about right. Perhaps a prayer more than a poem?
Show Yourself, God. (Poetry) - 1/30/2012 6:04:10 PM
Thank you for sharing this perspective, Janice. Love, peace, and blessings to you,
Show Yourself, God. (Poetry) - 9/16/2011 2:00:56 AM
Shades of the book of Job! And like Job, God brings us all to humility in the end. Well done, Janice.

Show Yourself, God. (Poetry) - 5/22/2011 8:10:44 AM
Once ago, Janice, I had similar discussion with God and shortly after I was urged to read someting from the Bible; then, I opened it at Psalm 46 and verse 10 which said "Be still and know that I am God" I was ahamed, and from that day I've learnt that God is still at work and He knows best. God bless.
Show Yourself, God. (Poetry) - 5/22/2011 5:38:42 AM
Very powerful indeed ......I ask these questions daily sweet lady....sighh...stay safe and well...Hugss
Show Yourself, God. (Poetry) - 5/22/2011 4:45:15 AM
Powerful ending. He gave us free will and original sin gave us the rest. But if you look at a crucifix, His dying for us was pure love. He also knew suffering and pain., rejection and persecution.
Show Yourself, God. (Poetry) - 5/22/2011 3:16:15 AM
Since we do not have Godís perfect knowledge on any future events, we still have to play the game of life as hard as we can and as best as we can, since we never know what God may do next. Food for thought on the sovereignty of God. Pray for forgiveness and counterbalance.
God Bless You,
Show Yourself, God. (Poetry) - 5/22/2011 2:56:12 AM
Forgive us God, the right prayer for today. Thanks.
