Why Should I Pray? (Article) - 8/5/2012 7:52:02 AM
Amen!!!! Prayer also relieves us of the stress and burdens we carry alone. If we pray and let the Lord know about those burdens, then we will be relieved. If we keep it to ourselves and don't tell it to him, then we are weighed down and soon become plagued with sickness.

Why Should I Pray? (Article) - 8/19/2011 3:25:02 AM
Yes! When prayers go up, blessings come down! This I know because God has proven to me what HE can do! So I have to keep my faith even when it feels like He hasn't heard some of my prayers I still have to trust him! Great article! Thanks for sharing! :) Debbie Debbie

Learn to be Content (Article) - 8/19/2011 3:06:29 AM
These are good words of encouragement for me which I pray that God strengthens me to hold on to my faith and to help me to all of my trust in him but often times I get off track and often I lose sight of that. I am still a work in progress but I am constantly working on it each and everyday! Very good article and thanks for sharing Stanley! :) Debbie Debbie

A Christian Should……. (Article) - 1/26/2011 7:32:54 AM
"A Christian Should...." This a lovely piece of work, Stanley. Only it may be fair just to stress a little on this point about being kind to our enemy. (Romans 12:30) We shouldn't do good to our enemy with the hope to "heap coals of fire upon his/her head" I take the view that if that's the motive it could be sinful. And so, it's an evil deed too. Then we are to be very considerate of what we do unto others. For example, we must help them out of the kindness of our hearts. Thanks!

The Peace Within (Poetry) - 3/15/2014 6:15:58 PM
This leads me to think about my own poem, "The Twig Or The Elephant", although the solution in dealing with the life's problem aren't the same. While your poem suggests to have peace within oneself, mine suggests to have that inner mischievous child within us so even if the world has turned upside down, the child can just simply looks at it in a child's playful eyes. I agree, no matter what we could be facing in life, there is always a solution to solve it and rid of the negative feelings. Sandie :o)

Blue Sky (Cinquain) (Poetry) - 6/27/2003 5:57:09 PM
I'm not familiar with Cinquain poems. Are they supposed to be counted by the number of syllables? I know the Haiku's are 5/7/5 and deals with scenic description. The Senryu's are also 5/7/5 but deals with emotions. What does Cinquain deals with? May Lu a.k.a. Sandie Angel :o)
