Believe In Magic (Short Story) - 7/25/2012 5:02:11 AM
A beautiful, moving and magical memory to hold in your heart for eternity. It is within these experiences that bring us that much closer to our true Self and humanity. Truly Divine Beings are everywhere, angels, humans, and God's light permeates in times of great need and when we are truly ready to open ourselves to such experiences, the magic or divine energy enters in. Tears well up in my eyes as you shared your journey with me. :) It is when we become humble that we become closer to God's grace.

Spirit in Art (Poetry) - 7/18/2014 8:09:51 AM
Your love of art and artistry as well portrayed in your poem. While I enjoy all forms of artistic endeavor, I tend towards the lower, more natural side, rather than the esoteric, highly literate side of artistry. Ron

Spirit in Art (Poetry) - 7/18/2014 5:49:11 AM
I really liked your delving into the Spirit in Art, Vicky. I, for one, became mesmerized by your very descriptive words, which took me inside this, your spirit in art (poetry).

Your image captures me more than your poem. Yesterday a 10 ton meteor struck a remote town in Russia. It looked a lot like your image. Are you clairvoyant? Ron

A Stranger's Hand (Poetry) - 1/25/2013 7:34:40 AM

Seashell (Poetry) - 11/15/2012 9:38:10 AM
As wonderfully convoluting as the seashell you praise, Vicky! I love 'polished by piquant breath and brine'. Sad and sweet and lovely, and I seem to ache with the liminal evanescence of the ending.. Erin Elizabeth Kelly-Moen

On The Wind (Poetry) - 9/13/2012 11:00:24 AM
You have reminded me of that Bob Dylan song, “ Blowing in the Wind.” Let's hope the winds of the future will be more peaceful. Ron

Loved the poem, love the compassion and I love cats! John MD

Feline Friends (Poetry) - 9/3/2012 4:44:29 AM
A poem that shows love for cats, so commonly shared. We don't have one, since my husband isn't one for pets, but there's a cute black and white cat that visits our scrap "feast." This is a wonderful picture! The cats are gorgeous and the setting and focus of the picture is great--I'm sure my semi-pro photographer daughter would heartily approve. Connie

Feline Friends (Poetry) - 8/21/2012 1:37:00 PM
You are doing a wonderful thing. There is a feral feline lady I feed each day. I've been doing it for two months. Yesterday she let me pet her for the first time! Hopefully soon I can make sure she gets spayed and a good home. Thank you for what you do.

Feline Friends (Poetry) - 8/13/2012 10:01:09 AM
I'm glad you're out there–doing this. I don't think cats have ever really been domesticated. A recent study mounting cameras on cats showed that they roam widely while out of the house and killed an average of two other animals a week. Ron

Sedona Silence (Poetry) - 8/2/2012 7:24:43 AM
I have passed through several times, and find Sedona Arizona the most beautiful and restful place where artists flock to enjoy the inspiration of the air and light upon the sculptured red rocks. Your poem speaks of the time it took to carve such beauty with wind and rain. Brought back memories. I hope to return there some day. Ron

Sedona Silence (Poetry) - 8/1/2012 4:59:13 PM

Abraham's Sons (Poetry) - 7/26/2012 11:52:49 AM
The anguish is ancient and deep. There are those on all sides who fan fires of war for their own purposes. I believe that the Internet and the education and bring will an end to war in due time. Ron

Abraham's Sons (Poetry) - 7/26/2012 9:38:49 AM
Only if they could know that they are really one man's sons; then, maybe there could be peace. Well done, Vicky.

Abraham's Sons (Poetry) - 7/25/2012 5:06:04 PM

Thank you for sharing the blessings, Vicky. Love, peace, and best wishes, Regis

Shaman (Poetry) - 7/20/2012 11:00:51 AM
Touching in its heartfelt humility. The imagery was especially pleasing, (IMO) and had a discernible spiritual fragrance. As I interpret it: an ardent heartcry to the Lakota Sioux 'Grandfather', or the Most High God of the Bible, for forgiveness, relationship, and perhaps intervention on a quickly devolving planet. "Aho" I can only interpret (but I may be wrong) as meaning 'in agreement'. Enjoyed! Peace to you ... rlc

Shaman (Poetry) - 7/18/2012 3:22:03 PM
Vicky, How lovely! It is a blessing to have Gil in your life. And, a blessing for him to have you in his.

Farm House (Poetry) - 4/26/2012 1:51:57 AM
Lovely poem, Vicky

Farm House (Poetry) - 4/21/2012 9:30:00 AM
Memories of my childhood flooded back. It's too bad so many kids these days don't get a chance to run free on the family farm. And a two hundred year old culture is being lost one farm at a time. Ron

Farm House (Poetry) - 4/20/2012 6:49:03 PM
Your poetry puts the dustbowl of Eastern Washington wheat fields back in my nose. Those were good days and even the "dusty screened windows," makes me remember that smell of the meshed screen catching all that dry airborn earth powder. "...tender grown and hidden gifts:" and "remembered grace." This is good stuff. I wish everyone could know this. Thank you. ~~ Diana

Farm House (Poetry) - 4/20/2012 9:38:42 AM
Vicky, Enjoyed your poem, I've never lived on a farm, but I always wanted too. Excellent write! Blessings, +Linda
