LITTLE DIME (Poetry) - 11/17/2012 10:27:58 AM
FAR
Which way shall I take the course to my reader’s hearts,
What scale and tools do I collect with,
What voyeur’s wrap I claim in readiness.
Are the ages of my father come to bear,
Or will be for next generation’s benefit:
And for sure hope luck to smile a lot,
Unless I weaken in devotion,
That I harbor this pretext,
Where course is subject to a wanton age.
Gather, flock with us; examine all to beyond:
Valiant person have surpassed our time.
LITTLE DIME (Poetry) - 6/13/2012 4:06:32 PM
Such a profound, thought provoking write, Walter; I have never considered the sound made by a single dime dropped into a tin box,but now, that you have brought it to my attention, I sense the poverty, and the desperation; imagine what feelings are evoked by the sound of a red cent dropped into such a tin!
This is poignant, and I thank you for sharing.

HOPE (Poetry) - 9/21/2011 5:25:13 AM
Walter,
A raw glimpse into the world of the hungry and homeless. I also write for them, Walter, but you do it with much feeling. The reality is there in your write. I love your style and your compassion.
Blessings,
~Linda
THE LAST VOYAGE (Poetry) - 9/21/2011 5:22:41 AM
Walter,
Such preception you have to the rawness of homelessness. You caputre the essence of their lives and I can feel myself drawn into their world with your words. You are indeed a gifted poet. I will be tracking you.
Blessings,
~Linda

Hello Walter,
I've enjoyed your poems even though they seem filled with pathos. Comparing myself with your picture, I am probably farther down the road than you, but we share the same feelings about a final ending to what is our life--what is!
One wonders WHY we are here? Seems like there is no purpose other to live on through regeneration.
I enjoy your writing.
