The Handkerchief (Short Story) - 10/9/2011 12:40:26 PM
The Handkerchief is a beautiful, heartfelt love story that reveals what love is all about. During my years on this earth, I have known only two couples who have had this kind of deep and abiding--thick and thin, kind love--my grandmother and grandfather, and my mother and father.
My mom and dad are still alive and over the years I have watched this bond become stronger and stronger. This story brought tears to my eyes and made me think about what makes love so lasting and binding. I understood the envy of the woman in the story, because I too have felt this same emotion many times. Both of my marriages ended in divorce and most days I wander why I have not known such a strong abiding love. I think it is because people today just don't have the same "Hang in there" kind of mentality. Keep writing, you make people
examine their conscience. It is a beautiful story.

Till Death Do We Part (Short Story) - 8/6/2011 6:20:15 AM
A beautiful story with a beautiful message. I lost my husband a few years ago and have been blessed to find love a second time. We each know how important it is to love fully and truly every single minute of every single day. Arguments and disagreements are not a waste of the precious time we have left.
