Reads like you feel guilty in some way for not saying something or saying something you shouldn't have. It's all right, no harm will come to you if you move forward. You have the rest of your life to live now.

Winter Walk (Poetry) - 2/6/2012 4:37:28 AM
A very creative poem with a glimpse of life from another point of view. We have eagles here and sometimes wonder if they have several homes. Why not? They can be snowbirds too. Blessings to you.

Yes, I agree with Debby about how well you were able to put us into your scene through the pictures your words create in our minds... this imagery is vivid and refreshing, and affords a nice backdrop to your idea of a winter walk... crispness all too soon curtailed, because I found myself wanting more... a pleasurable read, indeed, Debbie.
Be well and always at peace with those you meet.

You can keep your snow, but I have to agree as to the beauty of wintertime walking...I do so on the beach in NJ...ed

refreshing, felt as if I was walking right into this scene. I adore that silence space after a fresh cold snowfall.

Stuck here in the South and no longer able to tolerate cold or to walk, you bring back fond memories of my youth, especially when hunting in the wintertime. Thanks for the memories of the peaceful winter scenes that were right out of Currier and Ives, silent, yet somehow cut with the distant calling birds and the tracks of animals coming home from the hunt.
