Real Estate (Short Story) - 9/21/2003 9:51:53 AM|
Very good story line. The plot kept you reading and I enjoyed the fact that the problem closing in was not given a name or a face. Well done but adding length may be the key to a notable achievment.

Downtowns are Obsolete (Article) - 9/21/2003 7:25:55 AM
I was just wondering the other day, "Where the heck is the 'downtown' in my city?" There really isn't one, unless you count the center of the city-- which, although it's half the size of a 'regular' downtown, still has the same crime and parking hassles. "Downtown" should remain the quaint idea from the old song.
Alcohol (Article) - 9/14/2003 5:02:34 PM
This was another excellent piece of writing; it must have been very difficult for you to reveal all the personal stories, but so worth it, as the personal stories are what can make the difference in somebody else's life.
Space difficulties and possibilities (Article) - 9/14/2003 4:56:32 PM
This was very well-written and easily understandable to this reader who has very little scientific background and a lot of curiousity. Thank you, Michael. I would like to see you write more nonfiction pieces like this.

Energy (Poetry) - 9/27/2003 3:31:33 PM
Well stated, Michael!!! So many of us talk a great game, however we fail to put our words into action. Unless we each become responsible and correct our erroneous ways of neglect and waste, SOON, we're doomed!

September 11th (Poetry) - 9/14/2003 8:31:07 PM
Not bad, Mike, not bad. Personally, I still think there's hope, if we could just get a President
who's not power mad and totally void of common sense, and if things don't fall
apart before then.
Heat (Poetry) - 9/14/2003 8:26:09 PM
This is cute. I think it could use a bit of tweaking, but all in all, it's fine.
A Man in Black (Poetry) - 9/14/2003 2:10:12 PM
A great tribute to a great influence. I didn't know him, wasn't a great fan of his. But I met him once when he lived in Memphis. He seemed a friendly sort and I liked him even from the short duration of our discussion. He will be missed.
Cruising (Poetry) - 9/12/2003 9:30:15 PM
This reminds me of a song: "Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places"! :) Nice to know the gay bar scene is comparable to the straight bar scene.
Interesting write, Michael. I could sense the urgency in your well worded prose.
